Discover and share information on the world’s most important places for wildlife with NatureWatch.

Want to prepare for a visit to a wildlife area – find out what other visitors have seen, view their photos? Want to share your own images and information about the places you visit?

With NatureWatch in your pocket you can:
• Plan your Adventures – Easily find the information you need to enjoy your next adventure by accessing maps, information sheets and wildlife sightings for a country’s most important places for wildlife
• Share the Magic - Share your magical moments with nature with your family, friends and colleagues, as they happen, by posting your images and experiences to Facebook and Twitter
• Become a Conservationist - By being the eyes and ears on the ground, you’re helping conservationists to monitor each site, plan the best actions and respond to threats.

MAPS
The app provides maps of the most important sites for wildlife and key information is provided for each site – including its area, altitude, main habitats, key bird species and protection status. Make sure your GPS location is turned on and you will see where you are on the Map and can switch between outline and satellite views.

SHARE INFORMATION
Sign in with Facebook, Google+, Twitter or create a NatureWatch profile to share your magical moments with nature as they happen with your family, friends, colleagues and other NatureWatch users. Find tips from other wildlife enthusiasts to plan your visit and then add your own information, post sightings of key species, report threats and share your photos. See something you like? Click on the like button to let people know.

WORKING OFFLINE
Before you go, download the country maps, check out other user comments and photos, and read the summary site information. This recently viewed information is stored on your phone and accessible whilst out of network coverage, just in case. Create your messages offline and they will be uploaded when your connectivity is restored (either Wi-Fi or mobile network).

NatureWatch is currently available for Australia, Cyprus, Fiji, Lebanon, Malaysia and South Africa. We hope to deliver NatureWatch for more countries in 2015.
